Learning Objectives

The target audience for this program is neurologists, primary care physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.  At the completion of this program, the participant will be able to:
  • Compare and contrast the two available MAO-B inhibitors approved for Parkinson’s Disease
  • Describe the role of MAO-B inhibitors as adjunct therapy to levodopa in Parkinson’s Disease patients with motor fluctuations
  • Evaluate the data related to the possible disease-modifying effect of MAO-B inhibitors
